[Icon-tech] C++ on the Icon or Python

Hi.
Can you program in C++ and load a C++ compiler, like GCC onto the icon and
build apps that way? Or is Python the better choice? And, is it possible to
compile executables from a Linux PC for the Icon even if you don't own an
Icon?
If I can do any of this, it will be easy for me to port my apps over from
WM. I'd really like to see more games and stuff on Icon and BraillePlus.
